Emma Chandler

Emma has over eleven years of town planning experience within both the public and private sectors, having secured her first planning job with Auckland Council. She has been exposed to both resource consenting and monitoring and compliance work, with two years of experience in the Devonport-Takapuna Resource Consents team at Auckland Council.

Emma joined Sentinel Planning in 2016 and has since taken a senior role mentoring and managing a team of senior planners. She was involved in countless projects for intensive residential developments and apartment complexes, subdivisions, childcare centres, and commercial and recreational applications.

Emma particularly likes immersing herself in project design and having the ability to influence the creative development process positively.

Outside work, Emma enjoys cooking and adventure activities, including snowboarding, water-skiing and air-chairing. She loves yoga, hiking and getting outdoors with friends and family.
