Frances Gibbons

Frances has over seven years of planning experience in New Zealand, beginning as a Planner for Auckland Council in 2017 after completing the Bachelor of Urban Planning (Honours) Degree at The University of Auckland. She worked in the Resource Consents team for over four years, spending the majority of her time working within the Devonport, Takapuna and East Coast Bays.

She has also spent time in the council’s Premium Team, where she handled applications, including Ngati Whatua Developments in Belmont, Kainga Ora Developments, Smales Farm and the Northcote redevelopment area.

Frances has worked on various residential developments, apartment complexes and subdivisions.

She’s also handled special character, rural, coastal and commercial applications, including processing and attending hearings for the now-functioning Gull Petrol Station in Devonport.

 Frances enjoys making the resource consent process easy for her clients, who are often unfamiliar with the intricacies of executing their dreams.

She enjoys the outdoors outside of work, especially sailing and being out on the water with family and friends and likes experimenting in the kitchen and especially enjoys baking.
