Consent for a major development located at 110 Kitchener Road, Milford has been granted.

A major development for Milford on Auckland's North Shore has been given resource consent following lengthy negotiations and an Environment Court hearing.

The site at 110 Kitchener Road and 1A Pierce Road, marketed by Harcourts Cooper & Co as Milford 110, features 20 residential apartments and one commercial unit across two planning zones. Sentinel Planning successfully ensured the project could go ahead despite objections due to a lack of car parking, construction noise, height (including boundary), setback of the upper floor, and earthworks volumes and area.

Milford is one of the North Shore's most iconic and sought-after locations, loved by many for its relaxed atmosphere and golden beach. Masterfully designed by Dan Bulog of Brave Architects, the bespoke boutique development reflects the vibrant coastal village's unique environment and is a unique offering within the community. Senior Planner Pip Riddell says the entire team is very proud of its part in bringing Milford 110 to life. "Planning for the future is what we do, and what a terrific spot to be doing just that."
