ASSOCIATE

Tim has been a senior team member at Sentinel Planning since 2014 and has over eighteen years of planning experience in the private and public sectors, both in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
He moved to New Zealand in 2014 after meeting Managing Director Simon O'Connor when working together in Southeast England.

Specialising in residential developments across Auckland, Tim skillfully obtains land use and subdivision consent for projects ranging from single dwellings to 50-plus units.
Tim enjoys working with clients to help achieve their development objectives and goals and secure successful results across various projects. He strives to establish the ambitions of his clients and develop a pragmatic path to maximise the potential of sites. He also endeavours to build good working relationships with Council Planners and Specialists to enable a smooth resource consent process.
Before moving Down Under, Tim studied for a Master of Planning at Oxford Brookes University. Tim gained extensive knowledge of residential design and planning requirements decision-making processes. He worked for several councils across London and Southeast England, processing resource consents and drafting residential planning policy.
Tim also worked in the private sector in the UK at Broadway Malyan, a global architectural company, where he worked on projects including new master-planned communities, landmark buildings, and new residential subdivisions.
Tim is a keen tennis player and golfer outside the office and makes the most of Aotearoa's outdoors.
